Parts For Juggling Club Project

I think I have most of the parts for the juggling club DIY now that I mentioned on Hubpages. I picked up the tennis balls at the dollar store yesterday. Now I need to carve out some time to work on it. I was going to wait until after Christmas, but now that our apartment might go up for sale, I'd like to finish these before all the parts get lost if we suddenly find ourselves moving. It's too soon to tell yet.

Making Juggling Clubs With Dowels and Plastic Bottles

Yesterday I found myself unexpectedly at a hardware store. So I got most of the parts I didn't already have for making the juggling clubs.  I got 3 dowels to cut in half, as well as the furniture tips for the end of the handles, and some screws. I hope I have all the other parts at home already. Here are some photos for ideas on decorating. 
I'll have to go through my tape box to see what colors of tape I have for the decorations. I'm writing an article about the project here because not many people come to my blog and I want a wider audience. Of course now comes the hard part, the actual making of the clubs. I was planning to start after Christmas because I'm swamped right now. But we'll see.

Just making sure I still know how to juggle. You know vaudeville is kinda coming back with all the attention Steampunk is getting. I could work on a Steampunk Juggling Routine. Hmmm, now there's a thought.

Juggling in the Dark

I did a little club juggling tonight. I wanted to see if I could juggle clubs in the dark and then have a flash go off and keep juggling. Boy was that tricky. Of course I wasn't thrilled to be getting so fat, but what can I say, I'm juggling at least.

Flats

If memory serves me right these are Juggle Bug clubs. I almost ordered some Henry's, but I decided I don't earn enough money juggling to justify the cost at this point.
Today I was practicing right hand flats. I totally suck at left hand flats, but as soon as I feel 'unrusty' I'll start working on left hand flats so I can do a full cascade with all flats.

Balancing clubs/pins

I'm best at balancing things on my nose, but tonight I decided to work on forehead and chin balancing. Here are the best photos from my practice session tonight. The best way to learn is in a still room with a peacock feather.

I decided I better get off my duff and practice some juggling at the park before the 3 rainstorms heading our way hit. Even so the park was still soggy from the morning mist. My goal today was do take self-portraits doing 3 clubs. So here are the best photos from my little experiment.
